Make it three straight losses to start the season for the Delta College football team.
The Mustangs fell behind 31-0 at halftime and never recovered, falling 45-0 to Chabot on Saturday in Hayward.
Delta quarterback Shad Norhdal completed 11 of 18 passes for 75 yards with one interception, and Titus Barnett ran six times for 30 yards for the Mustangs (0-3).
Chabot quarterback Chayce Akaka turned in the big performance of the day, going 15-for-22 with 287 yards and four touchdowns.
On defense for the Mustangs, Bo Samuelu had eight tackles and Jacquan Williams had seven. Delta will next host Feather River at 1 p.m. on Sept. 22.

Pacific at BYU Autumn Classic
At Logan, Utah, the Tigers placed fourth as a team with Jasmine Gonzalez leading the way. The Tiger took 26th with a time of 19:06.03.
Saira Purhar was right behind in 27th with a time of 19:07.1.Emma Winkler was 36th, Emily Wylie was 50th and Kimberly Villegas was 53rd.
Pacific will next head to the Montana Invitational on Sept. 28.

Pacific at ITF Futures
At Laguna Niguel, Pacific’s Johnathan Lieu advanced to day three of the International Tennis Federation Futures event, where he will play in the third qualifying round.
Lieu, a junior, won twice on Friday to advance to Saturday, where he beat German opponent Simon Junk by scores of 7-6, 6-4. He will play at 10:30 a.m. today against Korey Lovett (USA) in the third qualifying round at the Laguna Niguel Racquet Club.

Pacific at Aggie Shootout
At Davis, the Tigers played a pair of matches at the Aggie Shootout. Pacific fell 10-8 to third-ranked Cal, and lost in overtime to No. 7 UC Santa Barbara 13-11.
Bogdan Djerkovic had three goals to lead Pacific in the first match, and Luis Araya had two assists in each match of Saturday’s action. Alen Osmanovic, making his third straight start, had 13 saves in the loss to Cal.
Pacific will hit the road next weekend, taking on No. 2 USC on Sept. 22.

Delta at Riverside Invitational
At Riverside, the Mustangs compiled a 3-1 record in the tournament. They beat Golden West 14-6, Cerritos College 16-8 and Long Beach City College 10-8, and lost to Santa Barbara 10-6.
On the day, Maddie Wittkowske and Leti Mosqueda each had 10 goals, Jessica Diaz and Taylor Kleinert both had seven and Whitney Lee had four.
Tahlia Pou tallied 33 total saves for Delta (6-2).

Delta at Sacramento City tournament
At Sacramento, the Mustangs finished eighth out of 11 teams and had two individuals place. Greg Viloria went 4-0 at 125 pounds and took first place. And at 174 pounds, Aaron Robinson took fifth place with a 3-2 record.

Lincoln at Roddy Svendsen Shootout
At Merced, Adam Thomas had two goals — including the game-winner — to lead the Trojans to a 4-3 win over Johansen in the tournament championship game. Jacob Thomas and Hunter Martin also scored for Lincoln, with Cooper Pyeatt recording 14 saves.
The Trojans beat Foothill 10-8 in the semifinal game before the championship, with three goals each by Joshua Cavero and Jacob Thomas. Jacob Van Grouw had two scores, Owen Sherman and Mason Cooper each had one and Pyeatt had 14 saves.
