Two goals from Kriekie van Wyk, two assists from Justine van Lathem and a strong defensive performance led to a win Thursday night for the Pacific women’s field hockey team.

The Tigers scored within the first six minutes of play and didn’t look back, beating Central Michigan 7-0 in Mount Pleasant, Mich.

Lindsie Rogers, Gabriella Fondario, Nthabi Maine, Sophia Lizalde and Tayler Silacci also scored for Pacific (3-2). Marlise van Tonder recorded her second shutout of the season in goal.

The Tigers continue their road trip today with a 4 p.m. contest against No. 7 Michigan.

COLLEGE MEN’S SOCCER

Pacific 3, UC Riverside 1

At Pacific, goals by Camden Riley, Jose Sosa and Jonathan Jimenez gave the Tigers a win at home over UC Riverside.

Mateo Gomez made two saves in goal for the Tigers (3-2), and Bob Groenedijk had two assists. Sosa had the third.

Pacific will host Sacramento State at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

PREP BOYS WATER POLO

Amador 10, McNair 8

At McNair, Dylan Farrar led the Buffaloes to a win with four goals. For McNair (1-5), Jake Dorman had five goals and goalkeeper Kris Momyer had 13 saves.

Lodi 10, Bear Creek 6

At Bear Creek, Victor Plunket had four goals, Benton Peterson had three and Tristan Gorman had two to lead Lodi (1-0) over the Bruins.

For Bear Creek (1-2), Cade Campigli had five goals and Grant Ferguson had one.

PREP GIRLS WATER POLO

McNair 10, Amador 4

At McNair, Leilani Jones had six goals to lead the Eagles to a win over Amador. Goalkeeper Adriana Mora added 11 saves for McNair (3-3) and Mirette Earnest had two goals for Amador.

Lodi 13, Bear Creek 5

At Bear Creek, Elisa Grim and Jackie Weston both had five goals for Lodi and Hannah Wilson had three to help the Flames beat Bear Creek.

For the Bruins, Natalie Johnson had two scores and Maddy Halva, Amanda Perez and Marissa Rodriguez each had one.

PREP GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

St. Mary’s 3, Liberty (Brentwood) 0

At Brentwood, Halle Wunsch had six kills, four digs and one block as the Rams won by scores of 25-18, 25-18, 25-17.

Katelyn Telmo added five kills and three digs for St. Mary’s (10-1).

Bear Creek 3, Liberty Ranch 1

At Bear Creek, Samaya Royal had 26 kills to lead the Bruins to a win over Liberty Ranch by scores of 25-21, 22-25, 25-18, 25-20.

Karina Fardmanesh added 10 digs for Bear Creek (6-4).

Linden 3, Hughson 0

At Hughson, Anna Lucostic had 17 assists as the Lions won by scores of 25-14, 25-12, 25-11.

Katie Frink had 11 kills for Linden (4-3), and Emily Dondero had 10 digs.
