In episode 2 of the mini series "Ports Pregame Chat", The Record caught up with Gio Brusa, the St. Mary's High and University of the Pacific standout who currently plays for the San Jose Giants.

Brusa, who's in town with the Giants as part of a four-game series with the Stockton Ports, is hitting .247 with 13 home runs and 48 in 67 games for the Single-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants. The 24-year-old has been splitting time at his traditional spot in the outfield, as well as a new position in first base.

With The Record, Brusa discussed life as a Minor League Baseball player, coffee and his favorite food on the road, among other things.
