There were 43 bookings at the San Joaquin County Jail in the 24 hours ending at 8 a.m. Friday. At that time, there were 1,135 people held at the jail, which has an official capacity of 1,550. When the jail is full, some inmates may be released early.
Robbery arrest: Members of the Assembly Bill 109 Task Force responded to an address in the 2700 block of Pixie Drive on Thursday to serve a robbery warrant and arrested the suspect just after 2 p.m. Bryclin King, 18, was arrested on suspicion of three counts of robbery, conspiracy and shooting into a dwelling.
Shots fired: A 67-year-old male victim and 26-year-old female victim were inside of their respective residences in the 2500 block of Scotts Street and the 600 Block of Sullivan Avenue on Thursday when they heard multiple gunshots just before 3 p.m. and realized their houses had been struck. No injuries were reported, and no suspects were seen.
Battery on an officer: Officers responded to the 1200 block of North Airport Way on Thursday for a report of a family disturbance at about 9:40 p.m. They contacted the suspect, who was in violation of a restraining order. The suspect refused commands and put his hand around an officer’s neck. The suspect was taken to the ground and continued to refuse commands. After approximately five minutes, the suspect was taken into custody and medically cleared at an area hospital. Ramiro Jimenez, 31, was arrested on suspicion of a violation of a restraining order, battery on an officer, resisting an officer, probation violation and an outstanding warrant.
Assault: On Friday, a 56-year-old male got into an argument with a 55-year-old male in the 100 Block of West Flora Street at about 12:10 p.m. One picked up an object and struck the other with it before fleeing the area.
The Stockton Fire Department responded to 115 calls for service in the 24 hours ending at 8 a.m. Friday, including seven vehicle accidents, 82 medical calls and one structure fire.
