Road rage leads to arrest

STOCKTON — A man and woman were arguing near Airport and Zephyr ways at 8:30 a.m. Saturday.

The woman left the location, but the man followed her in his vehicle and attempted to run her off the road, police said.

The victim then decided to follow the man, but he put his car in reverse and rammed the front of her vehicle.

Officers arrested Troy McMickens, 51, without incident on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.

Woman struck in head with shoe

STOCKTON — Two women were arguing in the 1600 block of South Turnpike at 5:30 a.m. Saturday when one struck the other in the head with a sneaker, police said.

Arriving officers tried to detain the assailant, but she resisted and was taken to the ground.

The victim, a 23-year-old woman, was taken to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Misty Green, 41, was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and resisting arrest.
