Contract talks between Lincoln Unified, teachers continue
STOCKTON — Contract talks between Lincoln Unified School District and the Lincoln Unified Teachers Association continue in an effort to eventually reach an agreement.
The next meeting is set to take place Tuesday with a state mediator and the district. On Oct. 10, LUTA picketed outside Sierra Middle School before a regularly scheduled board meeting.
At the core of contract negotiations between the two sides are health care, support for new teachers, improvements to professional development and more music and physical education for TK to third-grade students.
Both sides already have a tentative agreement on salaries.
