There were 62 bookings at the San Joaquin County Jail in the 24 hours ending at 8 a.m. Friday. At that time, there were 1,297 people held at the jail, which has an official capacity of 1,550. When the jail is full, some inmates may be released early.

Robbery: A boy was robbed by four people about 3 p.m. Thursday in the 1000 block of Thornton Road. The robbers threatened to beat up the victim if he didn’t give up his property, so he complied. The victim declined to identify the people involved or provide descriptions.

Carjacking: A 33-year-old man was driving about 1 a.m. Friday in the area of Hammer Lane and Holman Road after getting off work. Later, he woke up in a parking lot and unable to find his 2016 Chevrolet Impala. He had a bump on his forearm and head and believed he was carjacked. There is no suspect information.

The Stockton Fire Department responded to 121 calls for service in the 24 hours ending at 8 a.m. Friday, including 10 vehicle accidents, 78 medical calls and two structure fires.
