STOCKTON — Police arrested one man and released two others early this morning after a report of shots fired in the 1900 block of Comstock Drive.

Officers responded about 2:45 a.m. and made contact with three subjects where the shots had been heard. The subjects were on probation, and a subsequent search led to the discovery of a handgun in their vehicle, according to officers. Two of the subjects were released. Arrested was Osaka Thy, 27, on the following charges: carrying a loaded hangun but not being the registered owner; a felon or addict possessing a firearm; having a firearm with a previous violent offense conviction; a prohibited person owning or possessing ammunition; an occupant carrying a concealed firearm in a vehicle; and carrying a loaded firearm in public under specific circumstances. Bail is $475,000.
