STOCKTON — Deputies arrested a man Sunday on suspicion of gun charges after a verbal argument escalated to the point he allegedly fired several shots into a home while driving away from the east Stockton scene, the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Daryl Allbright was booked into the County Jail on suspicion of shooting into an inhabited dwelling, felon in possession of a firearm and other weapon-related offenses, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were initially called Sunday morning to respond to a verbal disturbance near North Wilson Way and Highway 99. When the deputy arrived, he learned that Allbright had gotten into his car after the argument and then reportedly fired three shots into the victim’s home as he drove away. No injuries were reported.
After he was apprehended later in north Stockton with the aid of a K-9, Allbright was taken into custody without incident and a gun was allegedly discovered in his car, according to the report.
