STOCKTON — Voters curious on different initiatives in the upcoming June ballot are welcome to attend a Stockton NAACP general membership meeting starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

The meeting will be held in the Federal Building on 401 N. San Joaquin St. in Stockton and will feature political analyst Tom Lawson, a former chief of staff for Sen. Cathleen Galgiani.

The right to vote is fundamental for all citizens. Part of our civic duty is to be responsible voters and educate those on all matters that will be voted on.

As the nation’s oldest and largest civil rights organization, the NAACP stands firm in its pursuit of a just democracy.
