LODI — A 17-year-old boy from Woodbridge was arrested Monday in connection with the shooting death of a 31-year-old man Friday night, Lodi police reported.
The boy was arrested about 10 a.m. Monday. His identity, charges against him and details of the arrest have not been provided by authorities.
The homicide occurred about 11 p.m. Friday. Officers responded to the 700 block of West Vine Street on a shots fired call and found the victim. He was treated at the scene for gunshot wounds to the abdomen but succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead by medics, according to the police report.
The victim’s name has not been released pending identification and notification of next of kin by the San Joaquin County Coroner’s Office.
