San Joaquin County Sheriff's Deputies are looking for a man who attempted to rob the Burger King in Lockeford earlier this month.

According to a report, the suspect ordered a soft drink and handed the clerk $5 on April 2. When the cash register opened the suspect partially pulled out a two-tone handgun. He then reached for the till, and the clerk slapped his hand. The would-be robber ran from the store.

The white 5-foot-7 to 5-10 suspect is in his mid-20s with red facial hair and a medium build.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the San Joaquin Sheriffs Office at (209) 468-4400. You can remain anonymous.
