Weapons arrest: A man pulled over during a traffic stop about 6:50 p.m. Friday in the area of March Lane and Interstate 5 was cited after officers found a loaded gun in the vehicle. Joey Serratos, who was driving on a suspended license, was issued a citation on suspicion of weapons and traffic charges.
Assault with a deadly weapon: A 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon after he choked and threatened a woman with a gun about 9:13 p.m. Friday in the 500 block of East Weber Avenue. Brian Frank, 23, reportedly confronted the victim about some missing items. He then pointed a gun at her and choked her. Frank was arrested at the scene with a loaded gun on him. He is also facing weapons and terrorist threat charges.
Shooting into a dwelling: A home was hit by gunfire about 10:04 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of Caribrook Way. No one was injured. The shooter was in a black sedan.
Weapons arrest: Officers responding to a call of a person with a gun arrested 20-year-old Juan Rodriguez and Jose Vargas, 18, on suspicion of narcotics and weapon charges. Police stopped their vehicle and found a handgun and drugs inside.
The Stockton Fire Department responded to 140 calls for service in the 24 hours ending at 8 a.m. Saturday, including 11 vehicle accidents, 94 medical calls and one structure fire.
