Robbery: Three subjects attacked a victim in the 8700 block of Cherbourg Way at 8 p.m. Monday. Police said the three attackers, described only as wearing all-dark clothing, took property and the victim’s vehicle. There was no further information.
Attempted armed robbery: An elderly woman was walking in the 9100 block of West Lane at about 3 p.m. Tuesday when a black, four-door vehicle pulled up next to her and a male passenger got out. He pointed a gun at her and demanded her purse, which was hanging from her walker. The woman refused and was pushed to the ground by the robber, who got away in a vehicle. Police described the man as being white, 20 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 180 pounds with brown hair and last seen wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt. The vehicle was driven by a woman, authorities said.
The Stockton Fire Department responded to 138 calls for service in the 24 hours ending at 8 a.m. Tuesday, including seven vehicle accidents, 97 medical calls and six structure fires.
