STOCKTON — Sheriff's Deputies were in East Stockton on regular patrol Tuesday night when they saw several men drinking in the middle of South Walker Lane.

One of the men, 19-year-old Joey Lamzon, tried to flee on foot, deputies reported. They chased Lamzon and one deputy saw him throw a reflective object over a fence, deputies said. It turned out to be .38 revolver, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Lamzon was caught and booked into the San Joaquin County jail on weapons charges. Bail is set at $350,000.
