STOCKTON — With help from neighborhood residents, a burglary attempt at a vacant house in the 1200 block of West Rivara Road in Stockton was prevented Monday afternoon, according to the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies responded to the vacant residence around about 2 p.m. after receving a tip that a woman might have broken in. A deputy arrived and arrested 24-year-old Nichole Danielson on the property. Danielson was arrested and booked for an oustanding warrant for possession of a controlled substance, according to the Sheriff's Office. Bail is not allowed.
