Police are seeking information regarding the death of Melanie Martinez, 3, who was struck by a stray bullet while riding in a car with family members at 8:26 p.m. Sept. 25 in the 1100 block of Commerce Street in Stockton. Police are seeking information regarding the death of Bobby Baker, 27, who was shot at 12:52 p.m. Oct. 3, 2004, in the 4800 block of Kentfield Road in Stockton. Baker was chased down by two to three males who shot him and then fled the area on foot. Police are seeking information regarding the death of Donnell “Jake” Bradley, 22, who was shot at 11 p.m. April 22, 2006, after being confronted by an armed assailant at a gas station at North El Dorado Street and East Hammer Lane in Stockton. Witnesses said it appeared the assailant may have been trying to rob Bradley. The assailant fled in a red or gray vehicle after the shooting. Police are seeking information regarding the death of Timothy Egkan, 32, who was found dead at 2:08 a.m. Sept. 13, 2015, near West Poplar and North Lincoln streets in Stockton. Officers in the area on an unrelated call were approached by a citizen who told them there was a man lying in the gutter who appeared to be dead. Officers found Egkan with obvious signs of trauma. He died at the scene. Investigators believe he was involved in some type of altercation.
