There were 47 bookings at the San Joaquin County Jail in the 24 hours ending at 8 a.m. Monday. At that time, there were 1,394 people held at the jail, which has an official capacity of 1,411. When the jail is full, some inmates may be released early.

Car theft arrest: Officers on patrol near West Lane and Hammertown Drive about 5:10 p.m. Sunday spotted a stolen car, contacted the driver and took him into custody without incident. Officers arrested Guadalupe Lopez, 22, on suspicion of auto theft and possession of stolen property.

Robbery: A man was returning to his vehicle at 6 p.m. Sunday in a parking lot in the 5300 block of Pacific Avenue when a woman armed with a black semiautomatic handgun approached, pointed the gun at him and demanded his property. The robber took the man’s cash and iPhone 6s with a gold case and fled to a waiting white Chevrolet sedan. She was described as an Asian woman between 20 and 30 years old, 5 feet tall and 180 pounds, last seen wearing a gray hooded jacket and gray pants.

The Stockton Fire Department responded to 102 calls for service in the 24 hours ending at 8 a.m. Monday, including seven vehicle accidents, 74 medical calls and one structure fire.
