Native Sons to serve up steaks

Ribeye steaks are on the menu at a dinner put on by the Native Sons of the Golden West Stockton Parlor No. 7 beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Friday .

Tickets for the dinner at the Italian Athletic club, 3541 Cherryland Ave., Stockton, are $30 and available by phoning Wayne at (209) 333-7588

Native Sons of the Golden West is a fraternal nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the history of California and supports hospitals in California specializing in treating cleft palate. There are branches in Stockton and Lodi.

Tracy seeks crafters for boutique

Tracy High School is looking for crafters for its Seventh Annual Holiday Boutique to be held Dec. 1 at the school, 315 E. 11th St.

Farmington to hold holiday boutique

The Farmington United Methodist Church’s annual Crafters’ Boutique/Bazaar with soup and pie luncheon is scheduled for 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 20.

Hand-sewn, crocheted, knitted and embroidered items, holiday wreaths and decorations, handmade jewelry by Jacque and freshly baked goods, candies, nuts, pomegranates and other goodies from Aunt Martha’s Kitchen are among the boutique items.

Food items from the soup and pie luncheon can be purchased individually or with the full lunch special of drinks, a variety of homemade soup, Genova bread and pie, for $8.

The Farmington United Methodist Church is located at 25626 E. Elm Street, one block from Highway 4 in downtown Farmington.

Escalon boutique is Oct. 27

The 23rd annual holiday bazaar and soup and pie luncheon is set for 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Oct. 27 at Escalon Methodist Church.

Handmade crafts, gifts and holiday items, needlework, wood crafts, homemade jams/jellies and frozen ready-to-bake homemade pies will be on sale.

The lunch is available for $8.

Edison all-class reunion tickets on sale

Tickets are on sale for $50 for the Edison High All-Class Reunion scheduled for 5 p.m.-midnight on Nov. 24 at Stockton Memorial Civic Auditorium.

Apollo Night holding auditions for new season

Are you a singer, dancer, band, poet, gospel performer, comedian or rapper and want to share your talent with the world?

Apollo Night Talent Showcase will hold auditions for performers of all ages for Season 18 at 9 a.m. on Oct. 21 at the Stockton Hilton Hotel.
