June Mauser, 70, of Stockton, CA, passed away at home Friday, May 25, 2007. She was born on June 12, 1936 in French Camp, CA to Hazel and William Houston. After graduating from Placer High School she married her childhood sweetheart, raised a family, then obtained her teaching credential from the University of the Pacific School of Education. She began teaching in 1976, and in 1981 found her home at Mable Barron Elementary School and remained there until her retirement in 2000. Mrs. Mauser had a passion for history and loved having her students participate in the San Joaquin Valley Days Environmental Living Program. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Joel Mauser; daughters, Lori (Ken) Kowal, Nancy (Chris) Moreno and Mary (Gerry) Kluck and grandchildren, Christopher (Jenny) Moreno, Leslie (Chad) Cruz, Brian Moreno, Dylan Kluck, Dailey Kluck, Phoebe Kluck, Katie Kowal and Betsy Kowal. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at DeYoung Shoreline Chapel, 7676 Shoreline Dr. in Stockton beginning at 100 p.m. Family and friends are invited to attend the rosary service at DeYoung Shoreline Chapel, 7676 Shoreline Dr. in Stockton, Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at 600 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Luke's Church, 3847 N. Sutter, Stockton on Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at 1230 p.m. Committal at San Joaquin Rural Cemetery, Harding Way and Cemetery Lane, Stockton.
